About Us
In the late 1970's, Saltworks started at DeAnza College where it continued until
the early 1990's. About ten years later in 2002, Saltworks surfaced again at
DeAnza College. We have at this time expanded onto 2 other campuses, West
Valley College in 2003 and San Jose State University in 2005. Our goal is to
reach out to the local Colleges in the South Bay Area.
Saltworks consists
of vibrant young men and women who are excited about what God is doing in their
lives and enjoy sharing Him with others. Besides being active on the campuses
of DeAnza, West Valley, and San Jose State, we offer the Friday Night Thing. This
takes off on Friday nights when everyone gathers together for a time of more
in-depth Bible study and fellowship. Other activities we hold include the
Mountain Rendezvous in August, the Winter Retreat in February and the Summit
in May.
